At Aki Safety Consulting, our mission is to make safety clear, practical, and achievable for every company we serve. Based in Edmonton, Alberta, we provide safety support for small and mid-sized construction businesses that may not require a full-time safety officer but still need compliance expertise and a strong safety culture.

Aki Safety is proudly Indigenous owned. We believe you cannot talk about reconciliation without talking about opportunity. Our commitment is to increase Indigenous representation in construction by hiring, mentoring, and supporting Indigenous workers, and by partnering with companies that prioritize rebuilding relationships with Indigenous peoples.

Aki is here to help lay a safe and stable groundwork for smaller construction companies. Our mission is rooted in purpose and nourished by lived experience. We support companies in creating safety cultures that reflect the real crews on the ground: skilled, resilient, and human. Because safety is not just hard hats and hazard reports. It is knowing someone has your back. It is being seen. It is the beginning of something better.

We offer services including COR certification preparation, WCB claims management, safety manual development, site inspections, and toolbox talks. With both construction and administrative experience, we understand the realities of the industry and deliver flexible solutions that protect workers, strengthen businesses, and ensure every person goes home safely at the end of the day.
